The September event for 2014 saw FoTF Conservation return to Hockham to improve the series of ponds. The quiet ponds hold a wide range wildlife and is one of the best dragonfly sites in Norfolk. The task involved more removal of Common reed, Reed mace Water Soldier and Bur-reed from the edges of the sunny edges of the ponds that have most recently ‘slubbed’ out. The more aquatically minded ventured into the ponds, those who were not feeling so ‘amphibious’ performed scrub clearing work between the ponds.
Previous conservation event photos are also uploaded to the Friends of Thetford Facebook page.
