Friends of Thetford Forest is delighted to announce an award of £1107 from the Postcode Neighbourhood Trust to purchase equipment to help with conservation and archaeology tasks. Having applied for funding in August, it is only now that we can publicise our success.
The Postcode Neighbourhood Trust is a grant-giving charity funded entirely by players of People's Postcode Lottery. Our grant came from money allocated to help voluntary groups in this year's challenging circumstances.
The latest FoTF Newsletter (Autumn/Winter 2020) is out now. The new look newsletter can be viewed here.
Friends of Thetford Forest Latest Newsletters
Below are the most recent Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter editions of the Friends of Thetford FoTF newsletters which is published bi-annually by FoTF.
The Committe has had to look very hard at the way the Friends of Thetford Forest newsletter is published and distributed, with yet another increase in postage costs it is now difficult to justify or sustain posting out so many copies.
FoTF would like to reduce the number posted out to only those that do not have internet access as the newletters are available as a PDF on the website, where the newsletters going back to 2001 as PDFs are available as this is the best way to make the images viewable to anyone, no matter what computer they are using.
FoTF would like to be able to email a link out to everyone at the time, but do not have a correct email address for many members.
If you need or want to receive your newsletter by post, please notify the membership secretary by writing to:
