Friends of Thetford Forest (FoTF) Conservation Group Photos - April 2019

The April 2019 Friends of Thetford Forest (FoTF) Conservation event saw FoTF Conservation return to Santon Downham Workshops. They finished off the construction of the mink rafts which were started previously in the December 2018. This involved the construction of the tunnel to sit on top of the rafts, enabling monitoring of footprints in wet clay to establish presence or absence of mink on waterways around the forest.

The team also store the Friends of Thetford Forest Conservation tools and equipment at Santon Downham Workshops, so a spring clean of the conservation shed was undertaken, with a general fettle up of tools such as saw blade replacements and tool sharpening done.
